With the world preparing to gather in the USA in a couple weeks for the World Cup, here's your heads up that ShelbyKY is quietly a terrific place to spend time during your travels. ⚽

For those planning on attending matches in Dallas, Kansas City, Atlanta, Philadelphia, or New York, ShelbyKY is a great spot right in the middle. Save some money, do some Kentucky bucket-list items when you don't have a match to attend, and enjoy being less than a 2-hour flight away from your next kickoff venue.

Grove Hill Cemetery in Shelbyville is regarded as one of the most beautiful and historic cemeteries in all of Kentucky. This land first began to house resting sites in the 1850s and now contains almost 20,000 graves. On the heels of Memorial Day, it's worth noting that at least one veteran who fought in every American war is buried here. Whether someone in your bloodline is buried here or not, it is a wonderful, humbling destination to explore. Grove Hill Cemetery Friends
