Shepherdstown Ghost Tours was founded in 2013 by Shepherd Colllege Shepherd University graduate, Meredith Moore.

Since 1983, Meredith has had paranormal experiences while attending Shepherd and while living and working in Shepherdstown, WV. The candlelit walking tour highlights her experiences, blended with history of the town and the college and other stories gathered over the years. Meredith has gathered many, many true ghost stories over the past few decades. Occasionally, paranormal activity will occur while the tour is being conducted!

Shepherdstown Ghost Tours is considered the best ghost tour in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. It focuses on the town's history and paranormal activity. Each tour guide offers a different perspective and storytelling talent.

Hello. I feel the need to humanize this ghost tour company for a moment.

I goofed big time tonight. I did not assign a guide to a private tour booked for tonight. I feel horrible. Luckily the weather didn't cooperate so the tour was canceled, but, still, I goofed.

I sincerely apologize to our customers.

The human part? Besides the human error? I have been dealing with glaucoma in my left eye and a snake or spider bite on my right leg the day I got my stiches out of my eye. On the funny side, I am turning into a pirate. ☠️ Just in time for Pirates of the Bay Ghost Tours on August 8th in Rock Hall, MD.

On top of all of that, my husband and I work 6 days a week for ourselves, but it is just the two of us.

So! Please be patient with me and my new tour guides as we navigate how to manage scheduling.
