👻 SALT LAKE CITY HAUNTED HISTORY 👻
🎭 Did You Know?
One of Salt Lake City's most famous ghost stories comes from the historic Capitol Theatre, which opened in 1913. Reports of unexplained footsteps, doors opening and closing, mysterious voices, and sightings of a friendly spirit nicknamed "George" have become part of local legend.
The story is often linked to Richard Duffin, an usher who lost his life during a fire at the theater in 1949 while helping others evacuate.
🎃 Some employees have even claimed unusual activity increases during performances of The Nutcracker.
