We may be 5 months away from the 2026 Christmas Tree Elegance, but work has just begun. Tree teams are getting down to business.

The Public Facilities and Westcoast Entertainment teams are meeting with Tree Team Leader Lorelee Bauer to prepare their trees, "Rocking Down Memory Lane" and "Be Our Broadway Guest".

03/04/2026

It may be the beginning of March but the Christmas Tree Elegance planning committee is already working with gusto on the 2026 production. Last Monday was the Tree Team Kick Off Meeting. It was a time when Tree Team Coordinators, first-timers as well as some who have created a tree for more than 20 years. met to get things started. They heard Lorelee Bauer, Christmas Tree Elegance Volunteer Tree Team Chair, ask them to fill out the needed forms and task then to tell what they have in mind for their tree this year, including colors and themes. She was very excited to learn that we have at least 15 trees committed for this year. Among those attending were veteran coordinators Jeanette Brenner and Elizabeth Raol. First-time tree team leaders were Amanda Biggs, Best of Broadway, MacKencie Belley, Spokane Public Facilities and Jeremy Rosenvall, Power Pickleball Club. Tiffany Osborn, Carol Borodin and Amanda Winter were some of the returning team members.
