“Forging Freedom,” comes to the Springfield Armory National Historic Site on August 29, 2026.

Highlights of the day include an up-close look at a U.S. Army Blackhawk helicopter, exhibits from all six branches of the U.S. military, and a live concert by the US Army Rock band, “RipChord.”

Visitors will also enjoy Colonial-era blacksmithing, cooking, and historic fi****ms demonstrations, as well as guided walking tours and ranger-led experiences throughout the Armory Museum and grounds.
