🎢 UNIVERSAL ORLANDO JUST DROPPED A NEW TICKET OFFER! 🌎✨

I have quite a few guests headed to Universal Orlando over the next couple of months, so this one definitely caught my attention!

If Universal has been on your list (especially now that Epic Universe is open) this may be the excuse you needed.

A new limited-time 3-Day, One Day Per Park Promo Ticket gives you:

🎬 1 day at Universal Studios Florida
🦖 1 day at Islands of Adventure
🌎 1 day at Epic Universe

Tickets start at $105.43 per day, including tax, and your three park days can be used within a 7-day period.

Want a little more flexibility? There’s also a Park-to-Park option that lets you hop between Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure on those two park days and that means you can ride the Hogwarts Express between Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade! ⚡️🪄

There are also some great Universal resort and vacation package offers available right now that we can pair with your park tickets. Staying on property comes with some great perks too, including Early Park Admission and complimentary transportation to the parks and CityWalk.

With Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure AND Epic Universe, Universal Orlando really has become a vacation all on its own, not just something you add onto an Orlando trip!

If you’ve been thinking about Universal, let’s take a look at your dates and see what we can put together!

Southwest Airlines is getting airport lounges?! 👀

Okay, this one caught my attention.

I’ve stayed pretty loyal to Southwest over the years, and my husband flies them all the time, so I’m always watching the changes they make, some I love, some I’m still getting used to. 😂

But this one is interesting.

Beginning in 2027, Southwest is planning to open its first-ever airport lounges in partnership with Chase. The first locations are expected in Austin, Baltimore, Honolulu and Nashville, with more planned after that.

They’re also introducing a new premium Southwest Rapid Rewards credit card that will include access to the lounge network.

I have to admit, I never really pictured Southwest as a “lounge airline,” but I’m curious to see what they do with it. If they can keep some of that relaxed Southwest personality while adding a nicer pre-flight experience, I could absolutely get behind it.

Now I want to know what my fellow Southwest travelers think,

Does having airport lounge access make an airline more appealing to you, or could you care less?

Can’t pick just one European country? Don’t.

Start with Amsterdam’s canals. Cruise past castles on the Rhine. Cross the Swiss Alps. Ride the canals of Venice.

Choose between the Vatican Museums or ancient Rome. See Michelangelo’s David in Florence. Then finish in Paris.

European Tapestry with Globus brings several of Europe’s greatest hits together in 14 days.

One suitcase. A very full camera roll.

Madonna inspired me to see the world. Dolly reminded me there’s no place like home. ❤️

I just read an article with that idea today, and it really hit home with me.

Maybe it’s the Gen X in me, but music has always had this amazing way of connecting us to places, memories and different times in our lives.

There are artists who make you curious about the world beyond your own little corner of it. They make you want to experience the places you’ve seen in movies, heard about in songs or dreamed about for years.

And then there was Dolly. ❤️

She traveled the world and became an icon, but she never seemed to forget where she came from. She loved Tennessee, invested in her community, gave back in incredible ways and always seemed genuinely proud to call it home.

And isn’t that one of the best things about travel?

I LOVE going somewhere new. I love experiencing different places, resorts, ships, food and cultures. There will always be another destination on my list.

But I also love that feeling when the trip is over, the plane lands in St. Louis and you know you're home. (And seeing the Arch!)

Travel can make the world feel bigger while somehow making you appreciate your own little piece of it even more.

So this week, I’m raising a glass to Dolly, adding another destination to my never-ending travel list, and remembering that both things can be true:

There is a whole world out there waiting to be explored. 🌎

And there really is no place like home. ❤️

What place in the world are you always excited to visit, and where is the place that will always feel like home?

🌵🏝️ Beach vacation with a completely different view.

If you’ve never considered Los Cabos, Mexico, this destination deserves a spot on your list!

One of the things that makes Los Cabos so unique is the scenery. You have dramatic desert landscapes and mountains meeting the beautiful blue water of the Pacific and Sea of Cortez, it definitely doesn’t look like your typical tropical beach destination.

And there’s so much more to do than sit by the pool. You can build a Los Cabos vacation around:

🌊 Time on the water and outdoor adventures
🌵 Exploring the incredible desert landscape
🍴 Amazing food and dining experiences
💆‍♀️ Spa and wellness time
✨ Or simply checking into a gorgeous resort and doing absolutely NOTHING for a few days!

And yes, doing nothing absolutely counts as a vacation activity. 😂

Los Cabos can work for a romantic getaway, girls’ trip, anniversary, adults-only escape or simply a “we need to get out of here” vacation.

Have you been to Los Cabos, or is this one still on your travel list?

🛳️ 2028?! Yes, I’m already talking about 2028 travel!

I know it sounds SO far away, but if a European river cruise is on your bucket list, planning ahead can really pay off.

AmaWaterways has opened its 2028 river cruise sailings, and right now you can save up to $2,500 per stateroom on select sailings when you book by September 30, 2026.

But the savings aren’t the only reason I love planning a trip like this early.

Booking ahead gives you a better opportunity to choose the itinerary you really want, travel during your preferred dates and have more choices when it comes to your stateroom, instead of picking from whatever happens to be left later.

Imagine sailing the Danube, Rhine or through the beautiful wine regions of France in 2028. 😍

If a European river cruise has been sitting on your “someday” list, maybe it’s time to turn someday into an actual date on the calendar.

Let’s start looking at what 2028 could look like!

🚢 A NEW cruise terminal is officially open in Philadelphia!

And this is one I think Midwest cruisers should have on their radar.

Norwegian Cruise Line brought cruising back to Philadelphia this year for the first time in 15 years, and now the city’s brand-new cruise terminal is officially open!

Why do I think this is exciting?

Because it gives us another option for a cruise vacation WITHOUT automatically having to head to Florida.

Depending on the sailing and time of year, Norwegian is offering cruises from Philadelphia to destinations including:

🏝️ Bermuda
🍁 Canada & New England
☀️ The Bahamas
🌴 The Caribbean

Norwegian Pearl will call Philadelphia home beginning later this year, and even more Philadelphia sailings are coming in the future.

I especially love the idea of pairing a cruise with a night or two in Philadelphia beforehand, see some history, eat a cheesesteak (obviously 😂), and then board your cruise!

Would you consider driving or flying to Philadelphia to start your next cruise?

🚢 What if I told you Mediterranean cruise season, doesn’t actually have to end when summer does?

More cruise lines are sailing the Mediterranean through the winter, and I think this opens up a really interesting option for travelers who have flexibility with when they travel.

Think about it:

☀️ Less of the intense summer heat
👥 Fewer crowds in some of Europe’s most popular destinations
💰 Often more attractive pricing
🎄 Seasonal experiences like Christmas markets and holiday celebrations
🇮🇹 A chance to experience places like Italy, Spain, France and Greece at a much more relaxed pace

And cruise lines are starting to take notice.

Windstar has been sailing the Mediterranean during the winter since 2023, and now lines including Oceania, Regent Seven Seas, Explora Journeys and Celestyal are expanding their winter Mediterranean offerings.

One of my favorite quotes from the article described winter Mediterranean cruising as “Europe’s value season,” and I think that sums it up perfectly.

Would you consider cruising the Mediterranean in the winter instead of during the traditional summer season?

I absolutely would. 🙋‍♀️

✈️ Southwest just opened MORE of 2027!

Southwest Airlines is now accepting reservations through June 2, 2027, which means spring and early summer trips are officially on the table! 🙌

So if you’re already thinking about…

🌴 Spring Break
🏰 Disney
🚢 A spring cruise
🎓 Graduation travel
☀️ Memorial Day weekend
💍 A spring wedding or honeymoon

…it may be time to start looking at those plans!

One thing I always tell my clients: you don’t have to wait until the last minute to start planning. Having flights available gives us one more piece of the puzzle when we’re putting together your vacation.

And with Southwest continuing to offer a huge schedule across the country, this is especially good news for those of us flying out of St. Louis! ✈️

Have something on your calendar for spring 2027? Let’s start talking!
