2026 is already shaping up to be one of the most incredible years we've ever seen at the Lightning Site and across our 100 Acres properties!

These photos here are from Lightning Site and next post will be the 100 acres discoveries!

👉 Swipe left for more photos of the amazing discoveries!

From monster Megalodon teeth and rare colorful specimens to incredible shark teeth, fossils, and unforgettable finds made by guests from all over the country, this season has been absolutely on fire.
What makes it even better is that many of these discoveries were made by first-time fossil hunters who came out ready to dig, get muddy, and uncover something that hasn't seen daylight in millions of years.

Every week seems to bring another jaw-dropping find, whether it's a giant serrated Megalodon, a stunning orange Lightning Site tooth, or a fossil that leaves the entire crew speechless.

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us so far in 2026. Your excitement, determination, and passion for fossils are what make these adventures so special. We're only getting started, and we can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store.
Think you've seen the best finds already? Trust us... there are still plenty of treasures waiting waiting for YOU to discover!

Another killer Megalodon discovery at the Lightning Site 🌩🦈

Night hunts are producing some absolute monsters lately. There’s just something different about digging under the lights, hearing the bugs buzzing, and pulling a giant Meg out of the gravel in the dark.

The Lightning Site continues to prove why it’s one of the best places in the world for Megalodon teeth — but you definitely earn every find out there. Hard work, long hours, and muddy boots… all worth it when a beast like this shows up. 🔥

Who’s ready for a night hunt? 🌙

UNICORN ORANGE MEGALODON DISCOVERY

Absolute jaw dropper pulled from the Lightning Site by Jonah! This rare orange Megalodon tooth is the kind of color collectors dream about finding. The unique orange mineralization comes from the fossilization process and is far less common than typical black or gray Megs

Lightning Site keeps proving why it’s one of the top Megalodon locations around. Finds like this don’t happen every day — especially with this kind of color and preservation. Every trip out there has the chance for a once-in-a-lifetime discovery.

Huge congrats to Jonah on this killer prehistoric treasure! 🔥🦈⚡
