The Flatwoods Monster Museum also houses the Braxton County Visitors Center. This is the best centralized source of all things Flatwoods Monster: history, artifacts, novelty items, and more. Also available here is area tourism information, maps, history, etc. Visit our location in the Downtown Historic District of Sutton, WV. Mothman? Flatwoods Monster? But who are the other seven creatures? West Virginia's new Cryptids license plate features nine legendary creatures associated with the Mountain State. Designed by the late Jesse Corlis, the plate goes on sale Monday, Nov. 2.
