Please know that our location in the Mountain Lakes Region of West Virginia is not affected by the recent unfortunate chemical spill in Charleston, WV. The affected area is over 100 water miles downstream from us (67 miles by Interstate I-79). Our water is clean, safe and plentiful. We've gotten a lot of water in the area, but as far as we can tell most roads are passable and most businesses are running as usual. Here's a little snap shot into the life of one of our marinas and how life changes when the water is high. If anyone knows of roads or businesses that are closed due to high water, please let us know in the comments of this post. Thanks!
