Disney Day 2: the one where the itinerary went out the window pretty early on: EPCOT

Did we have a strategy? Absolutely. Did we have an early entry plan? Yes, you NEED one. But did we pivot where we needed to - YES, you have too. You can never predict ride breakdowns, wait times, transportation mishaps, etc - and they all happened to us on this day… but that’s OKAY because we did ALL our priorities (except for one) without lightning multi-pass (we had lightning lane single pass for Guardians because you will never see me waiting in 90+ minute lines with children).

Highlights of the day:
⏰Early Entry: Test Track (did Rider Swap) & Frozen Ever After
👑Met Anna & Elsa (a highlight!)
🐟After, Remy’s was down (dang it!), went and rode Nemo instead (got stuck on the ride for 20 minutes), a couple kids had hangry melt downs (mine!)
🍽️Late Breakfast (11:30 AM) at Akershsus Royal Banquet Hall and saw some pretty great Princesses
🎢Guardians LLSP & took littles to GoofyCore!
🪂Soarn’
💤Back to the Resort for some much needed rest
🚡Then we had some transportation mishaps to get back to EPCOT, pivoted took Skyliner to Hollywood Studios and then Boat to EPCOT - missed our dining reservation, and ended up getting Quick Service instead
🎢Rider Swap group rode Test Track
🐢Made it literally at the last second for the last showing of Turtle Talk w/ Crush
💦Moana Journey of Water Attraction (night > day)
🎆Luminous Fireworks (personal favorite)
🚡20 minute wait at Skyliner to get back to the resort (in all reality, we were the first stop at Caribbean beach, Art of Animation/Pop Century guests probably had another 10-15 minute line once at Caribbean to get back to their resorts - resort choice matters!)

and suddenly the years have gone by and the Disney magic stays with you.❤️🫶🏻

people always ask why do you go to Disney so much and why do you take the kids so young. The thing is, I have never taken the same kid twice. Each trip holds a special memory and magic - the first time my son saw Toy Story Land and could run towards it, the first time he met Pluto, and most recently his first time on Rock’n Roller Coaster.

yes, they’ll remember Disney when they’re older.

but when they’re younger? That magic stays with you.

Disney Day 1: the one where they close down Animal Kingdom 🐨🙈🐢🦁🦒

first day. and we went hard, more so than we planned 😆 we skipped lightning lanes for this park and still did all our top priorities (a reason to use me as your travel planner) highlights included: riding everest SEVERAL times, the safari, bluey, yak & yeti and being the last guests in the park 🫶🏻❤️

🫶🏻early entry! getting to the park BEFORE early entry is key to queue up for Avatar. Note: there are some rides/experiences not open for early entry. Doing FOP during early entry or at park closing is a way around not having to pay for LL’s!

❤️ used rider swap for avatar and waited for the others outside of the safari to ride right at park opening

🫶🏻ran into Pluto and Goofy on the way to Everest. Everest was only a 25 minute wait after we were done with the Safari!

🐶Bluey was a big HIT with the toddlers. We went late morning, and by the time we were leaving larger crowds were coming in.

🍻Nomad lounge to rest for a couple of hours. One of my top favorite lounges at Walt Disney World

🎢after the lounge, Everest was a walk on (early evening), the older kids rode several times before we went to our dinner reservation at Yak & Yeti (had the last reservation of the night)

highlight of the day, being the last guests to exit the park and getting THE picture 🫶🏻❤️

POV: You said you weren’t going to be the tour guide this trip…butttt eldest daughter + Disney Planner energy said otherwise. 😂

If I know where we’re going, how to get there, what time we need to leave AND the fastest way to get there…I might as well lead.😂

Some of my favorite days are Disney Check-in Days😍

it’s not a secret that Caribbean Beach is my favorite Moderate Resort and one of the ones I recommend most to my clients looking for a moderate price tag.

You get the Caribbean vacation vibes, zero-entry pools + splash pad, and you’re right at the Skyliner hub for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. 🙌🏼

And because it’s Cool Kids Summer, Mickey, Minnie & Goofy were hanging out in the lobby to welcome us. 🥹 the perfect kick off to vacation

we arrived around 9:30AM, checked our bags with bell services and hopped on the direct bus to Blizzard Beach!
💦The kids LOVED it. I’d personally recommend Blizzard Beach for kids around 6/7+. The toddler area is cute, but it can get chaotic and there isn’t a ton for the little ones beyond that.
🌊 The wave pool is no joke—big kid fun, but definitely intense!
☀️ tip: plan your water park day for the morning. Afternoon storms are normal in Florida - we got about 5 hours in before the storms rolled through, so it worked out perfectly.

we headed back to Caribbean Beach for dinner by the pool before an early morning wake-up.
