the BEST day to visit Hollywood Studios in 2026? trust me.. if you’re planning Disney this fall, you’ll want to save this 👀✨

honestly… it will be one of those rare Disney days where you may not even need Lightning Lanes. Think Halloween Party Days at Magic Kingdom.

👀the details: Hollywood Studios is closing early on October 20th (5 PM) for a company buyout event, which means most people are going to avoid the park completely.

aka? ridiculously low crowds and some of the shortest wait times you’ll probably see all year 🎉

Disney Day 4 • Magic Kingdom • the one where they stayed all day and it was freaking magical ✨

I’ll be the first one to recommend taking a break back at the resort BUTTTT we had a long list of things we wanted to do and only one day at Magic Kingdom to do it. Going back to the resort was not going to happen, but we had breaks planned and it was the most magical day

• we had LLMP, and arrived after early entry started so we skipped long wait rides and ran over to Dumbo and Barnstormer then Space Mountain
• LLMP: buzz lightyear, thunder mountain and under the sea
• lunch at Tony’s Town Square (break 1)
• in the heat of the day: shopped on Main Street USA, mickeys philharmagic and cool kids summer Jessie’s roundup rodeo
• festival of fantasy parade
• pirates of Caribbean and beak and barrel reservation (break 2)
• exited MK for early dinner at a favorite: steakhouse 71 (contemporary resort) which is a 8 min walk from the park (break 3)
• back into the park for fireworks and night rides • the rain / storms came through and we took some memory maker pictures and rode Peter Pan and it’s a small world.
• after the rain, headed to teacups and right after hopped in line for seven dwarfs bc we saw Tomorrowland speedway had reopened after the storm, minutes later seven dwarfs opened and we walked right on (huge win!)
• ran to Tiana’s bayou and rode during the fireworks, some of the group split off to do fireworks in front of castle and to get in line for tron
• after Tiana’s - we ran to space mountain to re-ride with rider switch passes to end the night ✨
• left the park around 10:45 pm and had a magical day despite some rain/storms

Magic kingdom is a park you absolutely need a strategy for, especially if you only have one day • you may not do everything (you prob won’t in one day) but it’ll still be so so magical ✨✨

Disney Day 3: the one where they had a much needed resort rest day 👏🏻❤️🚡✨💦

ya’ll this rest day was so needed 😆👏🏻

💤 we slept in past 7am
☕️ got Joffreys at the SKYLINER hub
🚡 rode the SKYLINER to our character breakfast
🥂had a well deserved mimosa or two while at the best character breakfast on property
💦swam at the pool
☔️ afternoon storms moved us inside the lobby to participate in games, grab quick service lunch and shop
🚡SKYLINER to the boardwalk for dinner at one of my favorite go-to lounges
🍦unfortunately the boardwalk games and entertainment were not open because of isolated storms, and we ended up needing to have a doctor come visit the hotel room (everyone was okay - and the service was awesome) but overall good rest day before the best days coming up!
