I have been on 8 cruises in the past year and each time more and more of what was before is returning. And every time was relaxing, exciting delicious fun!

Who remembers the 1982 Don Henley song "Dirty Laundry"? It comes to mind for me when I read the news coverage on the cruise industry. On September 16th Carnival announced they were selling 2 ships that were 25 years old. They had always planned to sell these outdated vessels but accelerated the date. They also needed to delay planned sailings for 4 others because the pandemic has impacted their necessary dry dock dates. The press release was titled "Carnival Cruise Line Announces Modifications To Fleet And Sailing Plans For Certain Ships" But, somehow, the media picked this up and lead with a headline that caused people to believe all cruises were cancelled for 2021.
