World Ranger Day is celebrated worldwide on July 31st to honor Rangers killed or injured in the line of duty and to recognize the vital work Rangers do to protect the planet's natural and cultural heritage.

On this day, we pause to reflect on the courage and sacrifice of Rangers. We also celebrate their tireless efforts to conserve biodiversity and connect people with nature. Please take a moment of silence at noon to remember fallen Rangers and their families.

No matter how many times you see this; it's still amazing!

Lions are not typically known for their tree-climbing abilities, unlike other big cats such as leopards or jaguars. However, there have been rare instances captured on camera where lions, especially younger ones or lionesses, have climbed trees. This behaviour is more common in certain regions where lions may use trees for shade, vantage points for spotting prey, or to escape from insects or other disturbances on the ground. It's fascinating to see such large and powerful animals exhibiting behaviours usually associated with smaller, more arboreal species.

❖ April 1996-March,2002; Served as the Park Ecologist for Mikumi National Park,TANAPA.Main task was to oversee the ecological monitoring for all fauna and flora;
❖ January, 1993-March, 1996; Served as the Assistant Park Ecologist for Serengeti National Park (SENAPA); Also, I was part of TANAPA international marketing delegates at South Wales Exhibition, Sydney-Australia.

I am a dedicated person who is hard-working with integrity, honesty and co-operative, also innovative, self- motivated and confident person with ability to work independently, good interpersonal and report writing skills, good communication skills; positive results oriented and flexible person.
