Mission North Welcome to Mission North! "MOIN! Let me give you a short introduction of myself and the purpose of this site.

My name's Sherrard, many years ago, I turned my passionate hobby, of putting trips together for friends, into my profession. I myself, love traveling and one of my favorite countries is Germany which I have visited numerous times. That's the reason I founded this site, to show you a side of a beautiful country that not too many are familiar with. Just last year I heard about and visited the north

of Germany, from East Frisia up to the "Pearl of the North Sea" Sylt. I was amazed and fell in love with an area that's hardly known or talked about in the US. So follow my impressions and maybe I'll get you curious enough for visiting the north of Germany yourself one day. And of course I'd love to put up an individual trip for you and help you with all needed information. More pictures and videos are to come as I plan on more visits since there's so much to see and do. Enjoy and I'm waiting for your comments, questions and maybe suggestions."

More than a bonfire, Biike is a cultural symbol. Once believed to guide whalers or drive away lingering spirits, the flames now stand for unity, renewal, and the enduring identity of the Frisian people.
