Don't worry if you've never driven a boat before—rental companies provide instruction, and most people learn the basics in under an hour!

One of the most popular routes is traveling from England toward Wales along the scenic Llangollen Canal. Depending on your starting point, reaching Wales can take anywhere from 2–5 days, giving you plenty of time to cruise through charming villages, navigate historic locks, and enjoy peaceful countryside views.
