YBL Luncheon Celebrating Leadership and Investing in the Future

On Monday, we had the privilege of attending the Young Business Leaders Weatherford (YBL) Luncheon as we celebrated Weatherford's inaugural 5 Under 40 honorees. The event brought together emerging and established leaders for an inspiring lunch of meaningful conversations, leadership insights, and a shared vision for the future of our community. Thank you Cassidy Longcrier Sustainable Soul Salon, Tiffany Piepkorn Yellow Rose Mapping, Ashtyn Haynes Haynes Physical Therapy, Austin Haye TexasBank and Lorraine Crutcher Doss Heritage and Culture Center for being willing to participate in this informative panel discussion.

The panelists offered valuable perspectives on their personal and professional journeys, sharing lessons learned, leadership principles, and the importance of investing in the community. Their transparency and willingness to pour into other young professionals demonstrated exactly why initiatives like YBL continue to make such a lasting impact in Weatherford.

🎉 Congratulations to Mini Mavs Preschool Gymnastics on their recent Ribbon Cutting Celebration! 💙🤸‍♀️

What a special day as we welcomed this wonderful addition to the north side of Weatherford and celebrated an exciting expansion of an organization that has been investing in local families for more than two decades.

As part of the locally loved and award-winning Maverick All Star Tumblers, Mini Mavs Preschool Gymnastics was created to expand preschool gymnastics opportunities and provide even more ways for young children to learn, grow, and thrive through movement, play, and early childhood development. Their new preschool-focused facility offers a fun, encouraging environment where little ones can build confidence, coordination, social skills, and a love for learning through active exploration.

Since opening in 2004, Maverick All Star Tumblers has become a cherished part of our community, helping countless young athletes grow both in and out of the gym. We are excited to see that legacy continue through Mini Mavs and the opportunities it will create for the next generation of Parker County families.

The celebration doesn't stop here! Families are invited to attend the Mini Mavs Open House on Saturday, June 6, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM to explore the facility, meet the team, and learn more about upcoming programs. A special Bounce & Play event will follow on June 11, and classes officially begin June 15!

Thirty years of caring, compassion, and community service is a milestone worth celebrating!

The Weatherford Chamber of Commerce joined Holland Lake Rehabilitation & Wellness for a special ribbon cutting and anniversary celebration honoring 30 years of dedicated service to Weatherford and Parker County. The day was filled with excitement as residents, families, staff, community members, and local leaders gathered to recognize this remarkable achievement.

The celebration included a presentation of tenure awards to several dedicated staff members, including some who have been part of the Holland Lake family since the facility opened its doors 30 years ago. Their years of service, loyalty, and compassion have helped shape the culture that makes Holland Lake such a respected and trusted facility.

Known throughout the community for its exceptional care, compassionate staff, and active community involvement, Holland Lake provides skilled nursing, rehabilitation services, and long-term care. Providing kind and compassionate care is of the utmost importance to the Holland Lake team.
