With the Moose Lottery just around the corner, Zone 7's inclusion of a September moose hunting week promises to enhance the hunting experience. Following several years of remarkable October moose hunting, the permit distribution between the two weeks will undoubtedly create more opportunities for hunters to secure a notable moose. Mosquitoes were defcon level red today! Blood transfusions for everyone. Took us a bit but we got them to gobble and commit. Fun hunt and great to meet a couple of fine fellas from Tennessee. That’s 20 days in a row in the turkey woods!

Just plugging away spending everyday dawn to 12 in the turkey woods! Black flies are out and mosquitoes are making an appearance now! Days are much warmer and turkeys are gobbling! Getting our steps in everyday!
