Wow, so I posted last week about how I lost my hat- and luckily discovered I had dropped it when I had stopped until Bar Avalon and the nice bartender Lucas found it and kept it safe. After my tour on Friday I thought to try there and he immediately brought it to me!

I had deleted my lost hat post because it was found but since then SO MANY nice people have stopped me asking if I found the hat!! Just tonight on my tour two different people walking by asked, and both said they had been concerned about it! It's just such a nice reminder of how nice and caring many out there really are. In light of that, I figure I should post to let everyone know it was found- I didn't think anyone would care so had just deleted it! You never know who is seeing it!

This hat is very sentimental because it was made by the last hatmaker in Armenia who had been making hats for about 60 years before his death a few years ago. So that's tradition is totally gone now and the hat is irreplaceable, which is what had me feeling so sad that I desperately posted here about it. Thanks all you nice people for the concern!!

🚨NEW HISTORICAL MARKER ALERT!!!
This weekend I attended the unveiling of the historical marker for the Huey Ruins in Westtown Township. These ruins, dated to around 1730, are now believed to have been the original stone farmhouse and cellar used for cold storage of dairy products produced on the farm. This site helped to make Westtown a hub for dairy farming in the 1700s, supplying milk, cheese, and butter to the area. Many cow teeth have been found at the site. In addition, archaeological studies have found evidence of American Indian inhabitants on the site going back 4000 years. One of these photos includes some of the artifacts that have been found here. The sign can be visited at the intersection of General Howe Drive and South New Street.

While I am away in Armenia, I've become a podcast host! No, not about ghosts, unfortunately people here are not fans of them at all- so I've had to turn to the second most scary thing out there, politics!! I have on a political commentator to explain what happened with the Trump-Zelenskyy White House meeting. See being over here under Russia's foot, seeing a fellow post-Soviet leader get knocked around caused a lot of nervousness, so we talk about what it is really all about and what does it mean for us?

In this episode of the CivilNet podcast, political analyst Eric Hacopian breaks down the geopolitical shockwaves following the explosive meeting between U.S....

UPCOMING EVENT: Paranormal Investigation of the Lincoln House! Friday November 8 from 6-9pm.

Join ChescoTours and Exspiravit Paranormal Investigators for the FIRST ever ghost hunt of the building in its history. The event starts with a light dinner, a telling of the building’s fascinating history, and then we will get down to ghost hunting in small groups throughout the building!

Built by Congressman William Everhart (1785-1868) in 1833, the historic and beautiful Lincoln building is designed in the Federal style. It was the printing house where Abraham Lincoln’s first biography was published on February 11, 1860, as an article in the Chester County Times.

The landmark building now hosts the Chester County Community Foundation, and its employees and clients continue to sense spirits and hear unexplained noises in the building especially at night. One client upon visiting even sensed multiple ghosts on the premises and wrote out a letter detailing them. Further reason for spiritual activity is connected to the original town prison of the 1700s which was located across the street. Sign up on our website!
