A few weeks ago, the Lake Affect Fishing team had the opportunity to spend the day at Capt. Codey’s former middle school speaking with over 250 sixth-grade students from all three classes!

We discussed the importance of Lake Erie’s health, the incredible walleye fishery we are fortunate to have, and what it’s like operating a charter fishing business and spending more than 100 days each year on the water.

The students came prepared with outstanding questions and showed a genuine interest in learning about our Great Lakes, conservation, fisheries management, and life on the water. It was a pleasure, and we look forward to doing this again in the near future!

Remember the youth is our future in this world we must keep them informed and engaged in our natural resources!

This was our view the whole trip 🤯

🔥What else can you say 🤷🏼‍♂️ WALLEYE FISHING IS STUUUUPIDDDD good out of Barcelona Harbor and will keep being other worldly until we can’t fish anymore if we had to guess!! 28 years on Lake Erie fishing and we’ve never seen it like this 🤯🤯🤯 6 man plus a few for the mate today before 10am.

💪Book now if you want to enjoy this amazing fishery! 4 hour trips can run twice a day 7 days a week weather permitting! We have do have limited open days left until September, DO NOT miss out on filling your freezer with THE best tasting fresh water fish around IMO!

Well we’ve said it since earlier this year dates are going FAST and we’re down to very few weekend trips available!!

June 6th, 7th, 21st(Father’s Day) & 28th
July 5th and 26th
August 22nd and 23rd

That is all we have left until September! Don’t wait too much longer to get prime weekend dates, they won’t last!
