Southwest Flight Attendant Kelli Jo recently got to work a very special flight — with her own daughter Mallory in the cockpit as First Officer.

Mom spent years taking care of passengers in the cabin, and now her “baby girl” is the pilot flying her around at 35,000 feet. 🥹✈️

And this wasn’t just a photo opportunity — it was Mallory’s first flight as a Southwest pilot, and the first time mother and daughter got to work a flight together. I can only imagine how proud this mom must have been! ❤️

I love stories like this. Travel is so much more than just getting from one place to another. Behind every flight are pilots, flight attendants and families with their own stories, dreams and milestones.

Congratulations to Mallory on the beginning of an amazing career — and to one VERY proud mom! ✈️❤️
