Ghost tours are only part of what we do.

At Spooks & Legends, we believe the best stories are the ones that make you stop, look around, and see a familiar place differently.

Sometimes that means standing beneath the stars while hearing a tale of a restless spirit. Sometimes it means learning about a forgotten colonial resident, a daring pirate, an accused witch, or an event that changed Williamsburg forever.

History is filled with fascinating people, strange legends, unsolved mysteries, and moments that are every bit as captivating as any ghost story.

That’s why our tours go beyond folklore and ghost stories.

We explore the people who lived here, the choices they made, the challenges they faced, and the stories they left behind. Some are inspiring. Some are tragic. Some are mysterious. All of them are worth remembering.

Whether you join us for a haunted walk, a paranormal investigation, a history tour, or a special storytelling experience, you’ll leave with more than dates and facts.

You’ll leave with stories.

And long after the tour is over, those stories have a way of staying with you.

That’s what Spooks & Legends has always been about.

🦇 HAPPY WORLD DRACULA DAY 🦇

On May 26, 1897, Irish author Bram Stoker published Dracula, introducing the world to Count Dracula and forever changing the landscape of horror literature.

More than 125 years later, Dracula remains one of the most recognizable monsters ever created. His influence can be found everywhere—from films and television to haunted attractions and ghost stories around the world.

While Williamsburg has no vampires lurking in the shadows (at least none that we’ve found…), the city’s centuries-old streets have inspired their own tales of restless spirits, mysterious encounters, and things that refuse to stay buried.

After all, every great ghost story begins with a simple question:

What really walks the streets after dark?

Happy World Dracula Day from Spooks & Legends Haunted Ghost Tours.

Sweet dreams… and keep an eye on your neck. 🦇

This Memorial Day weekend, we pause to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their stories live on in the freedoms we enjoy every day. From the battlefields of the American Revolution to conflicts around the world, their sacrifice shaped the nation we call home.

As we gather with family and friends this weekend, may we take a moment to honor those who never made the journey home.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

This Mother’s Day weekend, all of us at Spooks & Legends Haunted Ghost Tours are taking a moment to honor the mothers who shaped the stories we carry with us.

The mothers who tucked us in with bedtime tales…
The mothers who passed down family legends and old superstitions. The mothers who taught us to be brave enough to walk through the dark with only a lantern and a story to guide us.

After all, without mothers… there would be no ghost stories for us to tell.

Behind every haunted portrait, every lingering spirit, every whispered tale from centuries past… was once a mother who loved fiercely, grieved deeply, protected her family, and left a mark upon the world that time could not erase.

This weekend, as the streets of Williamsburg grow quiet beneath the evening lantern glow, we remember not only the ghosts of history… but the women whose love echoes long after they are gone.

From all of the ghosts, witches, pirates, and storytellers here at Spooks & Legends — Happy Mother’s Day Weekend. May your hearts be full, your memories warm, and your loved ones near… whether seen or unseen.

From all of us at Spooks & Legends, we wish you a Happy National Paranormal Day.

Here in Williamsburg, history doesn’t always stay in the past. There are footsteps that don’t belong to anyone living…voices that carry through empty streets…and moments that make even the most skeptical pause.

From the Ghosts, Witches & Pirates Tour to the Dead of Night Ghost Tour, we’ve spent years walking these streets after dark.
And along the way, we’ve learned one thing for certain—

Some stories aren’t just stories.

Tonight, we invite you to lean into the unknown. Have you ever experienced something you couldn’t explain? Something you didn’t just see… but felt?

Share your story below—we’d love to hear it.

After the rain, the Thomas Everard House doesn’t simply reflect in the street it doubles.

Two houses.
Two histories.
Two stories… layered on top of one another.

Most visitors see a beautiful 18th-century home. But the longer you stand there, the more you start to feel it—that quiet, lingering weight Williamsburg is known for. The kind that doesn’t come from architecture…

…it comes from memory.

Because just beyond these streets—down toward the water at Capitol Landing Creek—another story unfolded.

In May of 1812, a young man named Gregory Page, a student at the College of William & Mary, drowned there. By all accounts, he was bright… promising… the kind of life that should have stretched far beyond those quiet colonial roads. Instead, it ended in the water.

And witnesses spoke of distress… of cries that cut through the stillness before everything went silent.

Now think about that for a moment.

A town like Williamsburg doesn’t forget things like that. It absorbs them. It holds onto them.

Places like the Everard House (Gregory’s family home) stood then, just as it does now and has watched as lives have unfolded, and sometimes… as they ended too soon.

So when you see that reflection after the rain—perfect, but not quite—you have to wonder…

How many moments like his are still echoing beneath the surface?

And how many of them are still looking for their way home?
