It’s been an absolutely incredible week out here off the coast of NC! The last few days of Meg tooth diving have also been top notch!

Perfect conditions above and below the surface, warm water, excellent visibility, and many beautiful fossils!

It was a spectacular day at the Meg ledges today! Beautiful conditions, a great group of divers, and some killer quality Megs! We also had an expert Paleontologist on board who was able to identify some of our more interesting fossils and bones.

We were also glad that Lee was able to finally make it out here (thanks to a last minute cancellation) after he made the trip all the way up from Florida and 2 other operations cancelled on him due to “weather”.. needless to say he was stoked!

We set out for “Pompano Day” and it was a success! The pressure is on when you’re offshore targeting a very specific species. Luckily these fish were there and the group capitalized on the opportunity.

Day 2 of our spearfishing week was 🔥

Big hogs (and lots of them) were the theme of the day, despite challenging bottom conditions with the cold dark water.

We ended up limiting out on Hogfish and Lobster. Throw in some nice scamp and red grouper to top off the fish box and call it a day!

Back at it today for day 3!!
