Bravo Kazakhstan!

The Aral Sea was dying. Once the world's fourth-largest lake, it had shrunk to just 10% of its original size in one of history's worst environmental disasters. But Kazakhstan refused to give up. What they've achieved in just a few years is nothing short of miraculous. This is the comeback story our planet desperately needs to hear! 🌊💙

Egypt has always held a special place in the life of Patricia Schultz, best-selling author of 1,000 Places to See Before You Die.

In this short video, Patricia shares why she is returning to Egypt this October on an intimate journey we designed together. The experience begins in Cairo with extended time at the Grand Egyptian Museum and continues with a private seven-night Nile cruise aboard a 14-guest dahabiya, inspired by the elegant sailing vessels of the pharaohs.

This exceptional 13-day journey is limited to just 14 participants. Hear directly from Patricia why this journey is so special.

As we wrap up the year and hold our annual meetings with our expedition leaders and guides around the world, we recently spent time with Indrajit, our master senior expedition leader and one of the finest naturalists working in India today.

Indra shared many photos and videos from this year’s operations, and one extraordinary sighting from Kanha National Park stood out immediately.

Thank you, Indra, for an exceptional year in the field and for many more to come.

Merry Christmas from all of us at New Paths Expeditions. We look forward to welcoming you on one of our expeditions, and hopefully in India, on our Tigers and the Taj Mahal expedition.

We were recently given a small mention on BBC Travel in an article about the disappearance of passport stamps around the world. It is brief, but it is there.

As borders become digital, one of travel’s most meaningful traditions is quietly fading. Our guests often tell us how much those stamps still matter.

So we are bringing them back in our own way.
Soon, every New Paths Expeditions journey will include a custom expedition stamp for those who wish to have it. It is, of course, entirely optional.
