We had brunch today at Verveine Cafe & Bakery in Cambridge, right outside of Boston. It is one of the best gluten free bakeries I have ever been to. Their pastries were incredible. I highly recommend the peach verbena galette, the yuzu blueberry danish, the cinnamon rolls, chocolate chip cookies and ube brownies. We had a few savory dishes this morning too. What are your favorites at Verveine?

We had dinner tonight at Prima, a modern Italian steakhouse in Boston. Mondays are gluten free night at Prima. Capo, Prima’s sister restaurant, has their gluten free night on Tuesdays. Prima might be my new favorite Italian restaurant in the United States. It was that good!

Good morning from Boston! We stopped at Kane’s Donuts this morning before our road trip to Newport, Rhode Island. I ordered a maple bacon, pumpkin spice, and apple c***r donut. I can see why people like them, and I love that they have so many safe gluten free options, but I am not a big fan of cake donuts. They are too sweet for me for breakfast. The apple c***r was our favorite. What Kane’s donut flavors are your favorite?

This week has been crazy busy after my trip to NYC and the release of Disney Cruise Line’s new itineraries for booking. I needed a quick and easy dinner, so I opted for one of my favorite frozen meals. I buy these amazing cheese quesadillas from Whole Foods and serve them with peach or mango salsa.
