It's summertime and vacations and getaways to the water and to mountains are what it's all about. BUT while you're having fun enjoying your summer - start thinking about those fall / winter getaways.

Halloween fun at Disney World is in the works beginning in late August and, of course, the Christmas holiday magic will begin in November.

Not all Disney trips have to be for an entire week. With 3 nights / 4 days you can get in all 4 parks, the Halloween or Christmas party and have THE BEST fall / winter short vacation. It does require arriving early on day 1 or leaving late on day 4. Of course, longer is great - but if school schedules only allow for a shorter escape - it is so do-able!
