The 4th of July in Yachats is anything but ordinary.

Start the day with breakfast, browse the Farmers Market, cheer on the wonderfully quirky La De Da Parade, enjoy live music, family fun, local shopping, a kite show on the beach, and cap it all off with fireworks over the mouth of the Yachats River.

Get wild in Yachats!

Wild Things returns to Yachats on Saturday, June 13, for a day dedicated to the incredible plants, animals, and ecosystems that make the Oregon Coast so special.

Meet a raptor, explore local wetlands, view the sun through a solar telescope, and discover the tiny plankton that support some of the ocean’s largest creatures. Throughout the day, you’ll find opportunities to learn from local experts and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world around us.

This family-friendly festival is all about curiosity, connection, and environmental stewardship, with activities and demonstrations designed to help us better understand the coast we love.
