Please join VFW Post #7807 and American Legion Post #23 for a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony on Friday, September 11, at 9:45 AM at Hiawassee Town Square. Together, we will honor those who lost their lives on 9/11 and remember the courage and sacrifice of the first responders and others who served in the aftermath.

9/11 Remembrance Ceremony

On September 11, 2001, our nation changed forever.
As a community, taking time to pause, reflect, and remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, including the brave first responders and service members who made the ultimate sacrifice, ensures their memory and courage will never be forgotten.

VFW Post #7807 and American Legion Post #23 will participate in the Towns County 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony to pay tribute to the fallen and stand united in remembrance.

We were so excited to celebrate the ribbon cutting for Grass Guitars and Moore Love and officially welcome them! We are incredibly thankful to have local entrepreneurs investing in our community, bringing new businesses, ideas, and opportunities to our area.
