Tonight is my last night in my 30s…whew, that’s a heavy sentence.
What a decade it’s been.
My 30s stretched me, challenged me, humbled me, and blessed me in ways I never could have imagined. They taught me perseverance, strengthened my faith, and gave me the courage to bet on myself.
This decade gave me so much more than birthdays. It gave me two incredible daughters to watch grow, a business that started as a dream and became a reality, a home to call my own, a husband to share life with, new professional certifications, new friendships, new networks, and opportunities I once only prayed for. It also gave me lessons that didn’t always feel like blessings in the moment, but looking back, I can see God’s hand in every single one of them.
As I prepare to celebrate my 40th birthday tomorrow, I can’t help but reflect on this season with a heart full of gratitude.
My theme for this year is Forty-fied.
To me, Forty-fied isn’t just about turning 40. It’s about being fortified by every victory, every disappointment, every prayer, and every lesson. It’s about stepping into this new chapter with greater strength, resilience, and courage, knowing that every experience has prepared me for what’s next.
Above all, I give God all the glory. Thank You, Lord, for sustaining me through every season, for bestowing blessings I could never earn on my own, and for allowing me the privilege of seeing another chapter of life. I never want to take that gift for granted.
Tomorrow I’ll celebrate with my husband, family, and friends in paradise. Tonight, I’m simply grateful.
If my 30s were about proving to myself that I could do hard things, I pray my 40s are about living fully, loving deeply, serving faithfully, and wholeheartedly enjoying the life God has allowed me to build.
See you tomorrow, 40. 😉💙🥂🌴🎉
