🌳 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗻 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗻𝘀 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Vietnam continues to showcase how nature and sustainability can go hand in hand. Mang Den Treehouse, an eco-retreat in Quang Ngai Province, with treehouse accommodation immersed in the natural forest, has been nominated as one of Vietnam's five candidates for the UN Tourism Best Tourism Villages 2026 award. 🎉

Built within the forest, the treehouses are designed to preserve existing trees while offering immersive experiences such as trekking, cycling, skywalks and forest retreats.

The nomination highlights the growing appeal of Vietnam's sustainable and experience-led destinations—creating fresh opportunities for more distinctive travel programmes.

🇻🇳 𝟳𝟵 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

Today, Vietnam marks the 79th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (27 July), a day of remembrance dedicated to those who sacrificed their lives and wellbeing for the nation's independence and peace.

Across the country, memorial ceremonies, candle-lighting tributes, and community activities reflect a shared commitment to honouring their legacy and expressing gratitude across generations.
For those of us working in tourism, understanding Vietnam means looking beyond its landscapes and landmarks. It also means recognising the history, resilience, and values that have shaped the country and its people. This deeper appreciation helps create more meaningful journeys and authentic cultural connections.

On this day, we join Vietnam in remembering those whose sacrifices continue to inspire future generations.

Heavy rainfall has recently affected several provinces in northern Vietnam, including Son La, Lao Cai, Lai Chau and Dien Bien, with flash floods and landslides disrupting some transport routes.

While these events can influence travel plans, they also highlight the value of having experienced local support. With timely updates from our teams on the ground, itineraries can be adjusted quickly and smoothly when needed.

Travel is rarely about following a fixed plan—it's about responding confidently when circumstances change. With the right local expertise, flexibility becomes part of the experience, not a disruption.

What makes a great travel experience?
It is not only the destination, the hotel, or the itinerary.

Often, it comes down to something much less visible: how well people work together behind the scenes.

Last week, our team had the privilege of joining an internal training workshop led by tourism specialist Hoang Que Nga, focusing on a topic that matters to every organisation: how being more proactive, clear, and committed can strengthen collaboration across teams and ultimately improve the service we provide to our partners and guests.

The workshop was filled with engaging discussions, group activities, and practical reflections on how small improvements in communication and ownership can make a significant difference.

A sincere thank you to Ms. Hoang Que Nga for sharing her knowledge and challenging us to think differently about how we work together.

Learning is a journey too, and we're committed to keeping it moving forward.
