[TSA's Discovery] The Hanoi Train: Journey through Scenery & Heritage 🚆🇻🇳

Just launched to mark Vietnam’s 80th National Day, The Hanoi Train offers a unique short railway journey that blends history, culture, and beauty.

🔸 The two-level train features 10 carriages, with 5 passenger cabins themed after Hanoi’s historic gates.

🔸 More than a scenic ride, the train itself is a “moving" cultural space. Passengers can enjoy traditional folk performances and capture interactive photo spots that bring back the memories of old Hanoi.

🔸 Currently, the train operates 3 trips daily (8:00, 14:00, 20:30), departing from Hanoi Station to Tu Son Station (Bac Ninh Province) and back. Whether by day or night, it’s a romantic way to explore Hanoi.

[TSA's Discovery] Tu Van Flag-Making Village: 80 Years “Weaving” the Soul of Vietnam 🇻🇳

📍 Just 20 km from Hanoi’s center, in Thuong Tin District, Tu Van is Hanoi’s largest national flag-making village.

Did you know? This is where thousands of Vietnamese flags flown at Ba Dinh Square were made, when President Ho Chi Minh declared independence on September 2, 1945.

For over eight decades, generations here have hand-sewn and embroidered each flag. Machines now help speed production, but handcrafting remains the village’s pride. Some artisans still spend 2-3 days on a single hand-embroidered flag, each stitch infused with patriotism.

In the days leading up to National Day, workshops run day and night, producing a variety of flags, from small keepsakes to massive ones for flag towers.

[Travel Update] Cambodia is about to open the 9th largest airport in the world! ✈️

Starting September 9, 2025, all flights to Phnom Penh will land at the brand-new Techo International Airport (KTI), instead of the Phnom Penh International Airport (PNH).

Located in Kandal Province (~40 km south of central Phnom Penh), this modern $1.5 billion airport is set to welcome up to 15 million passengers per year, with room to grow even more in the future.

💡What should you know?
1️⃣New facilities: Capable of receiving Airbus A380s and Boeing 747s for long-haul global flights.
2️⃣New adaptability, new routes to Phnom Penh:
Etihad Airways: Direct from Abu Dhabi (4x/week) starting Oct 30, 2025
Turkish Airlines: From Istanbul via Bangkok (3x/week) starting Dec 10, 2025
3️⃣New location: Around 45–60 mins from downtown Phnom Penh (compared to 30 mins for the current one)
