Mekong Delta Travel plan a 2-days Private Mekong Delta Tour Ho Chi Minh – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Cai Rang Floating Market to suite those who wish to do an authentic and private Mekong Delta tour of your own for better care.
Day 1: : Saigon – Cai Be – Vinh Long – Can Tho (Lunch, dinner)

Mekong Delta Travel guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City, and leave for Cai Be by car/van with stop for photos in Tan An town overlooking the beautiful rice fields.

On arrival in Cai Be, you will get on the motorized boat to wander into the villages to visit the orchard and fruit plantation.

You will then go on a boat ride to the island through small canals to experience the charms of the Upper Mekong Delta: Visit a family business to see how locals make coconut candy and crispy rice popcorn.

Keep boating to the other island to visit the traditional house dating 18 century, and have lunch break with local fresh specialties. Take a walk around peaceful fruit garden.

Back to our vehicle, we will drive to Can Tho City for the night.

After having dinner, you will spend your night in Can Tho.

After breakfast, we boat to along on the Mekong River visiting the amazing Cai Rang floating market.

We will interact into the market for witnessing the authentic Cai Rang floating market activities happening on the River. During the early morning market hours, larger sized boats anchor and create lanes that smaller boats weave in and out.

The waterway becomes a maze of hundreds of boats packed with mango, bananas, papaya, pineapple, and even smuggled goods like ci******es. Sellers tie their goods to a tall pole so that buyers can see from a distance what they are selling.

Have you tried the Vietnamese vermicelli noodle? So, you will go and see how it is made.

You will walk along a village to interact with the local people. Here you have an opportunity to experience how to pass a “Monkey bridge”

Back to our vehicle, we leave Can Tho for Ho Chi Minh City with lunch break at the local restaurant on the way to The City. We will arrive in The City at an estimated arrival time at 4:30pm. End thee services at the meeting point.

Mekong River Excursion Speed Boat Saigon River to My Tho & Ben Tre depart daily from Saigon River with the pick up from your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City centre.

Cruising through canals and along Saigon River into the Mekong River, you will enjoy some typical Southern Vietnamese’s activities such as: traditional music, cycling on village roads, rowing a boat, savoring honey tea, Mekong vodka as well as gourmet lunch on Ben Tre island. The tour also includes a visit to a coconut candy factory.

Itinerary:

7:30am: Pick-up at the customers’ hotel and transfer to Tan Cang pier by Saigon River Tour’s comfortable minivan.

8:00am: Depart for Mekong River Excursion Speed Boat Saigon River to My Tho by luxury speedboat. When on board, enjoy a light breakfast of The Pat’ a Chou cake with Lavie water & seasonal fruits, enjoy the fresh air and understand the daily life of local citizens living along the river banks.

Am: Have breakfast at the hotel. Today you will get up early to make a boat trip to visit the floating fish farm. Then you will go on discovering the ethnic Cham weaving village. We will drive to the Tra Su Sanctuary to see the wild birds Sanctuary, cruise smoothly with a small boat to discover the arrays of splendid canals deep into the forest. You may see storks, cranes and other tropical birds. Back to Chau Doc for a journey to Can Tho.

After lunch, you will leave Chau Doc for Can Tho. On arrival Can Tho, check in at the hotel. Have dinner at a restaurant. Overnight in a hotel.

Day 3: Phong Dien – Cai Rang Floating Market – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)

We will wake up a bit early today for our Inner Mekong Delta Tour Saigon to see both the wholesaler and retailer floating markets. You will start for a boat trip to Phong Dien floating market and get your own feeling to take part in or see purchase activity in the floating market with a plenty of local fruits and other goods, which has the special character of local people in the Mekong Delta. Keep cruising through the small channels system, stopping off to visit a rice noodle-making village. An experience to go over the ”Monkey Bridge” – a special covering building over channels throughout the Mekong Delta. Then you will visit the second floating market Cai Rang. Back to your hotel around 09:00 am. You will have lunch at a restaurant.

Pm: Then the driver will transfer you to Can Tho and return to Ho Chi Minh City. Along the way via Vinh Long you can stop to visit the local market where you can see local people buy and sell a variety of fruits and vegetables and learn more about the people here. You are back in Ho Chi Minh City at around 5.00 pm. Drop you off at a hotel in Ho Chi Minh. Tour ends.
