Last week the Centre had some special visitors in the form North Ayrshire Council Cabinet members who stayed overnight at the centre during their visit to Arran!

During their stay Team Leader Martin and Lead instructor Neil took them out for a 2 hour trip on RV Coast Explorer.

Just like the young people visiting the centre, the Councillers took part in a marine survey of the Lamlash Bay and recorded data on the seabed, plankton and seabirds within the No Take Zone.

The Councilers also observed the Ayrshire Police Cadets taking part in some paddlesports sessions as part of their weekend residential.
