We would like to share our enhanced travel insurance offering.
Effective immediately, Emirates has launched Comprehensive Travel Cover, an industry-first
travel insurance product that includes conflict-related medical cover and additional disruption support in selected markets.
Key features of the upgraded coverage:
1. Unlimited cover for medical expenses and emergency evacuation.
2. Trip cancellation and interruption cover up to USD 50,000.
3. Travel delay, baggage delay and baggage loss.
4. Conflict-related cover, including medical expenses up to USD 25,000 and a complimentary trip
extension of up to 30 days.
5. Coverage is not restricted by government travel advice.
In selected applicable markets, including the UAE, Canada, New Zealand and South Africa,
Emirates also provides hotel accommodations and support during conflict-related travel disruptions.
Travel insurance can be easily added via the Emirates website through Manage Bookings.
How to purchase travel insurance on emirates.com or through Manage your booking (MYB)
1. Log into the emirates.com/MYB site of the origin country as per ticket issued. E.g, emirates.com/uk
for travel insurance for passengers with issued tickets originating from the UK. Alternatively, please use the emirates.com global site.
2. Enter the EK PNR number and passenger name to retrieve the booking.
3. Once the booking is retrieved, please click the travel insurance card.
4. The passenger's email address should be entered and submitted on the email pop-up to purchase
Travel Insurance.
5. Review and accept the terms and conditions, confirming that the passengers are below 80 years
old and are residents of the Point of Origin (POO) country (e.g. UK).
6. The insurer will email the policy number directly to the passenger email address entered in the pop-up.
7. The passenger can also view their policy number on the travel insurance card on
emirates.com/MYB.
8. All post-sale support (e.g. voluntary/involuntary flight changes, cancellations etc.) will be handled by the insurer, so passengers should contact them directly. Modifications must comply with the policy wording document provided by the insurer per the market of origin.
