This is one of Cape Town's oldest markets and has a long history. As the name suggests, it started off as a fresh produce market, then a slave market and a focal point for protesting during Apartheid era.

Now it's a vibrant flea market open 7 days a week where you can find affordable African souvenirs for friends and family back home.
