Table Mountain remains one of Cape Town’s most celebrated attractions, a cultural landmark to city and one of the seven wonders of nature. Famous for its flat-topped summit, home to the Cape Floral Kingdom, hiking routes, and cableway experience, it continues to attract millions of visitors each year.

A new development at the summit has introduced a universal access pathway, created in partnership with South African National Parks. This improvement enhances accessibility for wheelchair users, families with prams, and visitors with limited mobility.

The project reflects a growing commitment to inclusive tourism, ensuring that more people can experience the beauty of Table Mountain.

This is a meaningful step forward for inclusive tourism, where natural beauty and accessibility go hand in hand.

South Africa’s wine industry will take centre stage on 2 February 2026, as the sector celebrates its rich heritage, legacy and contribution to economic growth.

✅ The Western Cape is home to 20 wine routes, showcasing world-class wine tourism experiences
✅ In 2024, the wine industry contributed R50.9 billion to the Western Cape economy and supported 245 128 jobs

As a key contributor to Cape Town and the Western Cape’s economy and export performance, the wine industry continues to drive growth, create jobs and position the province as a globally competitive destination.

From the dedicated workers who harvest the grapes in our vineyards to the winemakers, sommeliers, ambassadors and wine lovers around the world, this is a moment to celebrate our heritage, our people, and every story behind the bottle.
