“A Return To The Delta”

For JJ, Botswana has never just been about wildlife. It’s the people she’s met along the way, the familiar faces waiting at camp, and the feeling of returning to a place that already knows you.

This time, she brought her friend Sylvia to experience it too.

Together, they drifted through the Okavango Delta by boat, reunited with guides who felt more like old friends, and spent long afternoons watching elephants, lions, and birdlife move through the bush. Between Cape Town, Savute, Moremi, and Xugana, their safari became something deeply personal; full of laughter, storytelling, quiet sightings, and the kind of evenings you end up talking about for years afterwards.

With the help of our Africa Safari Expert, Matthys, every stop brought a different side of Botswana into view: wild landscapes, generous hospitality, and the kind of safari that keeps calling people back.

Africa doesn't offer one safari. It offers eight completely different worlds.

The Masai Mara, where big cats rule the open plains and the Great Migration rewrites the landscape every year. The Okavango Delta, where the water leads and the wildlife follows. South Luangwa, where you leave the vehicle behind and feel the bush beneath your feet. Chobe, where elephants gather at the river in numbers you have to see to believe.

Each destination has its own character. Its own light. Its own reason to go.
We've spent decades learning what makes each one extraordinary and we use every bit of that knowledge when we plan your safari. Not just where you'll go, but how it will feel when you get there.

Tell us where you're dreaming of. We'll take it from there.

Some of Africa's rarest animals don't make the headlines. This Endangered Species Day, we think they should.

The elusive Beira antelope. The intelligent African grey parrot. The critically endangered riverine rabbit. Each one is a story the wild is still trying to tell.

A rare little safari moment from Sabi Sabi.

During an afternoon drive, guests came across a mother honey badger and her cub in the road. Honey badger cubs are born blind and helpless, relying entirely on their mothers for protection. They remain with her for up to two years, learning how to forage, hunt, and survive in the wild.

Turn up the sound and take in this magical safari moment from Leroo La Tau Camp.

Filmed by our very own Adelle Bell, this beautiful scene captures zebras and elephants gathering around a watering hole, a peaceful reminder that, on safari, the wild can be closer than you ever imagined.

After 43 years… the rhinos are coming home. 🦏

In a powerful moment for conservation in Africa, Uganda has begun reintroducing southern white rhinos to Kidepo Valley National Park – a landscape that hasn’t seen them since 1983.

What started with just 6 rhinos in 2005 has grown into a thriving population of 61, thanks to relentless conservation efforts. Now, that success is being carried forward – restoring not just a species, but an entire ecosystem.

This isn’t just about wildlife.
It’s about resilience.
It’s about legacy.
It’s about rewriting a story that once felt lost.

Kidepo is becoming a Big Five destination again – but more importantly, it stands as proof of what’s possible when conservation is done right.

For the conscious traveller, this is the kind of journey that matters:
One where every sighting carries meaning.
Where every footprint tells a story of restoration.
Where travel contributes to something bigger than the experience itself.

Africa doesn’t just inspire – it heals, restores, and reminds us what’s worth protecting.

There is a kind of stillness you only find in the Kenyan bush – where the crunch of sand underfoot and the distant call of birds remind you that you are somewhere truly wild.

In our latest travel story, safari expert Megan Warrington shares her journey through Kenya’s remote conservancies, from tracking endangered rhinos on foot in Sera Conservancy to spotting the rare Samburu Special Five and experiencing authentic community culture far from the crowds.

It’s a story about raw wilderness, meaningful conservation, and the unforgettable moments that happen when you step beyond the usual safari routes. If you’re dreaming of a safari that feels deeper, wilder, and more connected, this is the journey to read about.
