Do you crave adventure? Are you a social media whiz with a passion for the hospitality industry? Riverlodge Backpack, a vibrant backpacker in Cape Town, is searching for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Consultant to join our team!
In this role, you'll be responsible for:
Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to attract backpackers from around the world.
Leveraging your expertise in Semper, Knightsbridge, and Q2b to optimize our revenue management and booking systems.
Creating engaging content using Canva for our social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.).
Driving brand awareness and increasing bookings through targeted online marketing campaigns.
Collaborating with local businesses and tour operators to develop exciting travel packages.
Providing exceptional customer service to all inquiries and bookings.
To be successful, you'll possess:
A minimum of 5 years' experience in the hospitality or tourism sector.
Proven success in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns.
Expert-level proficiency in all major social media platforms.
Solid understanding of revenue management systems like Semper, Knightsbridge, and Q2b.
Experience using Canva for graphic design.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
The ability to build rapport and work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
