For your clients, safari is not only about seeing wildlife — it’s about feeling the raw presence of Africa.

Like encountering an old Cape buffalo standing silently at a waterhole in Kruger National Park. Scarred, powerful and weathered by years in the wild, these solitary bulls carry a quiet intensity that leaves a lasting impression.

Often found alone near water as they age, old buffalo bulls are among the most iconic and respected animals in the African bush.

📍 Moments like these give safari its depth — untamed, unpredictable and unforgettable.

Did you know South Africa is home to one of the world’s greatest concentrations of proteas?

The spectacular Protea family forms part of the incredible biodiversity of the Cape Floristic Region — a global biodiversity hotspot found nowhere else on Earth.

From the iconic King Protea, South Africa’s national flower, to vibrant pincushions and cone bushes, these plants are specially adapted to survive harsh conditions, poor soils and even wildfires.

A few fascinating facts:
💮 Many protea species are found nowhere else in the world
💮 Some proteas rely on fire to regenerate and release seeds
💮 Their shapes and colours attract birds, insects and pollinators

Did you know? 🐘 The Kruger National Park was officially established on 31 May 1926!

While it was initially protected as the Sabie Game Reserve in 1898, it wasn’t until 1926 that it became the iconic national park we know today.

This year marks a century of conservation, wildlife protection, and unforgettable safari experiences in this wildlife reserve! 🎉

The office dress code changed slightly… slippers only! 😄

Our team proudly joined Slipper Day to support children living with life-threatening illnesses while adding a little extra comfort and fun to the workday. From fluffy slippers to colourful favourites, the office was filled with smiles, laughter, and lots of cosy energy.

Supporting Slipper Day is always something we enjoy being part of, and this year was no different! Safe to say productivity stayed high, even if our footwear standards became very relaxed today. 😉

For your clients, some of the most memorable safari moments are the quiet ones.

With its vivid yellow bill and elegant feeding behaviour, this striking bird is one of the many details that make a safari feel truly immersive.

📍 Experiences like these remind travellers that Africa’s magic is found not only in the famous wildlife sightings, but in the smaller moments unfolding all around them.

Not every unforgettable safari moment comes from the Big Five.

For your clients, it’s often the smaller details — like spotting a striking Red-billed hornbill perched high above the Botswana bushveld — that make a journey truly memorable.

Known for its bright red bill, distinctive markings and lively personality, this iconic bird adds colour and character to safari experiences across Botswana.

📍 Wildlife moments like these create richer, more immersive journeys — reminding travellers that Africa’s magic is found in every corner of the landscape.

Elegant, iconic and unmistakably African — the Grey Crowned Crane is one of the continent’s most remarkable bird species.

With its striking golden crown of feathers, graceful movements and elaborate courtship dances, the Grey Crowned Crane captures attention wherever it appears. Unlike most cranes, these birds can even perch in trees — adding to what makes them so unique.

Found across wetlands and grasslands in East and Southern Africa, sightings of these beautiful cranes are becoming increasingly special as their habitats face growing pressure.
