Obarak Excursions has decided to dedicate a significant amount of time and resources to humanitarian initiatives that encourage care, growth and education within the tourism community. Our commitment to giving back remains a key priority through the emergence of Tsatsawane’s Foundation which serves to establish a solid basis through which our efforts in humanitarian assistance, in particular charity work benefiting young children, could be channelled.

This initiative was inspired by My Late Mother who never failed at raising me well and giving the care every child deserves. Not only did she do this for me but any other child under the care of children’s home or orphanage. I am just starting off where she has left off.

Our Story: My thoughts run back to when my Mom made me face my deathly fear of heights by taking me and my little cousin to a vacation at Hartebeespoort, where our package involved ziplining to my surprise. I honestly felt betrayed because she knew very well that this was a way to “sacrifice me”, lol. Eight stages through the lines and I was still alive and something in me said do it again. I even asked myself what was the fear about? Thinking about this whole experience of a lifetime that was enabled for me by my mother, is one not to be forgotten, got me out of my comfort zone and my love for tourism made so much sense for me to want to venture more into pursuing it as my passion and become tourism entrepreneur. I would also love to give credit my tourism studies teacher, MRS I. Stander. She is a true voice of this INDUSTRY and makes a child believe that there is a future and a living in it, thank you for the valuable lessons.A youth-focused travel agency that aims to create transformative travel experiences for young people within the Southern African region. Our mission is to empower African youth by providing them with opportunities to explore their own continent, discover diverse cultures, and develop valuable life skills, while they can be at leisure, explore the landscapes and partake in adventures. We curate unique travel packages, forge partnerships with local communities, and prioritise sustainability and responsible tourism. Obarak Excursions aims to become the leading youth travel agency in Africa.
