A great privilege to run with Dion Leonard Extreme Runner this morning, he's the author of New York Times best seller Finding Gobi, and is in South Africa to launch his book and then run the 250km Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon . Dion kindly gave us a signed copy of his book.

Ryan Sandes is one of the worlds best ultra distance trail runners, and he comes from Cape Town, South Africa!

This local legend recently won the worlds most iconic and oldest 100 miler - the Western States 100-mile Endurance Run, starting in Squaw Valley and ending in Auburn, California. With 5,500m (18,090ft) of vertical climbing, this is one very hard run..
