Saruti Safaris

Saruti Safaris Saruti Safaris offers wilderness safari walks in The Kruger National Park South Africa This life fuses with both historical and archaeological sights.

We have an absolute love and passion for the Wilderness and in particular doing Wilderness Safaris walks within the Kruger National Park. We wish to share our experiences and expose as many people as possible to what we have experienced. The Kruger National Park covers an area of some 2 million hectares where there is unrivalled diversity of life. Kruger is the home to an impressive array of speci

es of approximately 2000 plants of which 404 are woody plants and 224 grasses, 53 fish, 34 amphibians, 118 reptiles, 517 birds and 147 mammals. Depending on the area we walk we visit some bushman rock paintings and archaeological sights like Masorini and Thulamela. Conservation is at the very core of our business and we are currently in the process of establishing a conservation trust where funds raised will be utilized to fund conservation initiatives within the Kruger National Park. The funding will be overseen by by a board of trustees where all transactions will be fully transparent o all donors and contributors. A percentage of our profits will be donated to the trust.

At Saruti Safaris we have taken a policy decision not to publish any photographs of rhino's. We are aware that poachers use technology in order to locate these magnificent animals. Please understand our policy and hopefully those that visit our game parks will also apply the same principle. The less available information we publish, the better the chances the rhino will have of not becoming extinct. We like to call it respect.
