Michael has over 36 years in the business and is South Africa's only designer and maker of head joints and flutes. With over 36 years experience in the flute business, Michael was trained by Britain's master flutemaker Albert Cooper and is a certified Straubinger technician. At a recent St

raubinger flute workshop, he was dubbed the Flute Alchemist by fellow participants from around the world. Fluteworx is an agent for Altus, Azumi, Jupiter and Yamaha flutes. Michael Botha has also designed the MCB Pattern headjoint (patent pending).

Some moments at yesterday's Roedean School's Flute Day, which we had the privilege of sponsoring. Our appreciation to Annelie Du Plessis-Hoberg for organising the day, and to the coaches Handri Loots Pierre Tolsma Anna-Maria Muller Melane Hofmeyr Burger and Rene Hartzenburg. Also to the budding flute players - wonderful to see emerging talent!

Looking forward to tomorrow's flute day Roedean School, which we FluteWorx SA will be sponsoring! Details as follows:
