In Pilanesberg National Park, a hot air balloon safari gives you a wide, almost cinematic view of the terrain. From above, you really start to notice patterns you’d miss on the ground like animal tracks, watering holes, and how different species move through the land.

The park itself, formed inside an ancient volcanic crater, adds another layer of drama with its circular shape and varied ecosystems.
