Tourism Business Council of South Africa estimates that South Africa's tourism sector has 49,000 SMEs! That's a large population of SMEs, making an important contribution not just to tourism but to the entire economy.

At we're continually thinking about ways to contribute towards enhancing the success and growth of tourism SMEs, thereby unlocking their potential to propel the country's economy forward.

We're excited about the initiatives we'll kick off next year, including our tourism cluster initiative, in partnership with KZN EDTEA (Department of Economic Development, Tourism & Environmental Affairs) and Tourism KZN.
