My new album YOUTH is out!
This album is presented as a portrait. It's about growing up, being influenced by the world around me and about experiences that have shaped and molded me into who I am today. These feelings are expressed throughout my time as a musician and as a student, eager to push through life, being optimistic and hopeful, seeing the road to a brighter future. It's about living a carefree life without worry, being in love, getting my heart broken, falling in love again but learning from it, this is about my progress that I've made so far being in the music industry and how it has challenged my direction as an artist. It's been a journey with highs and lows. I've been writing these tracks for almost 2 years and I was heavily influenced by the club scene during this time and also started listening to more music that I wasn't really sure of but I've tried to remain true to myself, which is why I put forward very abstract ideas in these songs, I explored what sounds were popular around my circles and I gave into working with more synthetic and mainstream samples but I decided to challenge them by adding some form of disruption through lighter drum hits and distorted arpeggiation. There is an element of deconstructionism in it, which is seen in the artwork. I'm eager to connect with more and more people on an emotional and spiritual level through this piece of music. Throughout the album, these songs are heavy on the heart but that is because they give out love. The album has a universal approach, I want to reach out to people who are willing to listen and send my love. Here's to the many more songs and events I share with the world.
