Hi! We’re the mother-daughter team behind Waves & Whales.

Sonja, the owner (and powerhouse who had the idea), and Tyler. I look after the day-to-day running of the B&B—from guest communication and reservations to making sure every stay is as comfortable and memorable as possible. And with our lovely staff helping us every step of the way.

We’ve been lucky enough to call Knysna home for over 20 years, which means we’ve had plenty of time to discover all the best local spots—and we’re always happy to share our favourites. 😉

✨ Our favourite part of hosting? Meeting wonderful people from all over the world and helping them create unforgettable memories.
