Royal Safaris | Marloth Park

Royal Safaris is looking for a passionate, professional and experienced Field Guide to join our team on a full-time basis.

We are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for the African bush, wildlife and conservation, and who can provide our guests with a safe, informative and unforgettable safari experience.

🔸 REQUIREMENTS

• Valid professional Tourist Guide registration
• Relevant recognised Field Guide qualification
• FGASA certification preferred
• Valid First Aid certificate
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Valid PrDP/PDP, where applicable
• Firearm competency and relevant rifle proficiencies where applicable
• Advanced Rifle Handling (ARH) advantageous/required for applicable dangerous-game activities
• Excellent Big Five and wildlife knowledge
• Strong understanding of animal behaviour, ecology and conservation
• Excellent communication and guest-relations skills
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Strong safety awareness and decision-making skills
• Passion for nature, wildlife and conservation
• Previous guiding experience will be advantageous

⭐ ADVANTAGEOUS

• FGASA Professional / Certified Field Guide
• Trails Guide / Dangerous Game qualifications
• Tracker qualifications
• Previous experience in the Lowveld / Kruger area
• Own reliable transport
• Own accommodation in or around Marloth Park

We are looking for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, professional and passionate about sharing the African bush with our guests.
