Join us at the unique and vibrant Moments Square in Parys for a weekend of live art, creativity, and community as we transform the square into an open-air gallery.

Whether you're a professional artist, an emerging creative, or simply someone who loves putting brush to canvas, you're invited to spend the long weekend creating alongside fellow artists and art lovers.

Bring your easel, paints, favourite medium, and your creative spirit. Visitors will be able to watch artists at work, engage with the creative process, and celebrate the arts in the heart of Parys.

Hosted by Lourens van Wyk Art Gallery in collaboration with the Parys Arts Association.

NGWATHE RECOVERY AND PUBLIC PARTICIPATION INITIATIVE

Dear Resident, Business Owner, Organisation and Stakeholder

You are hereby cordially invited to attend a public meeting during which the implications of the recent Court Order concerning the Ngwathe Local Municipality will be discussed, as well as the role that residents, businesses, community organisations and other stakeholders can play in the recovery process.

Purpose of the meeting:

β€’ Feedback on the Court Order and the recovery process.

β€’ Discussion of public participation during the recovery period.

β€’ Identification of community, business, environmental, heritage, faith-based and other stakeholders.

β€’ Exploration of mechanisms for ongoing community coordination and participation.

β€’ Preparation for future public participation processes.

This meeting is open to all residents, businesses, community organisations, faith-based organisations, sports and cultural associations, environmental groups and other interested stakeholders.

The recovery of Ngwathe is not the responsibility of any single organisation or institution. It requires the participation, knowledge, experience and cooperation of the broader community.

All interested parties are welcome.

Together we can build the recovery and future of Ngwathe.

Become part of this historic process, which coincides with the celebration of Parys’ 150th anniversary.
