The Van Stadens Gorge Market is uniquely located at the Cross roads between Jeffreysbay, PE and Uitenhage at the foot of the Van Stadens Mountain (Lady Slipper). It is flanked on one side with the gorgeous Van Stadens River Gorge and the ever popular Wild Flower Reserve on the other. The area is filled with history and adventure. You can walk or cycle the many trails, bolder climb down the gorge, swim in crystal clear pools or just relax taking in nature and the beautiful scenery.

We are proud to support local artisans, showcasing their hand made items, arts / crafts and lifestyle wares. We have something to offer everyone who visits.

Join us for a day of fun at the Van Stadens Gorge community market (20+ Stalls; food vendors, fresh produce, household items, leatherwear & more), nestled between the Van Stadens River & Lady Slipper mountain, minutes away from the Flower reserve. Lots to see and do. Come hike the many Mountain and Gorge trails, or cycle the multitudes of routes to your hearts content, walk down to the Van Stadens dam or into the 80 meter deep Gorge for a refreshing swim in the clear pools.... Everyone welcome, bring the kids, family and all your friends... We are located right next to the old rail bridge, (the highest narrow gauge bridge in the world 1907). From the N2, take the R102 towards Uitenhage and follow the signs. See you there.
