Safari or beach?

We vote for both.

A family safari has its own rhythm. Early starts, time spent watching wildlife, shared meals and days shaped by what is happening in the bush.

Then the pace changes.

You might leave the Maasai Mara for Chale Island, combine Tanzania's safari regions with time on the coast, or follow a South African safari with a few days beside the Indian Ocean.

The key is making the two parts work together. The right number of nights, sensible connections and enough time in each place to enjoy it without feeling rushed.

That's where careful planning makes the difference.

Meet Minette, our Operations Manager and a valued part of the Nurture Africa Safaris team since 2008.

Behind every carefully planned journey are countless details, and Minette is the person making sure they all come together. From coordinating logistics to managing the day-to-day operations behind your safari, her experience and attention to detail help ensure your journey runs smoothly from arrival to departure.

Having travelled to the Maasai Mara, Okavango Delta, Chobe, Zambia and the Sabi Sands, Minette also brings years of first-hand experience of Africa to her role.

Her connection to nature started long before NAS, growing up on a farm outside Pretoria, and continues today. When she isn't keeping everything organised behind the scenes, you'll likely find her on her mountain bike or out for a run.

We’re very lucky to have Minette keeping everything, and all of us, on track.
