A long-awaited return to paradise. 🌴

After an extensive rebuild, Fregate Island in the Seychelles is preparing to reopen its doors later this year, bringing a new chapter to one of the world’s most extraordinary private island escapes.
Ideal for beach lovers who want seclusion, nature and a range of activities.

Just 17 villas and estates, seven beaches, and an island where only 18% of the land is developed. But Fregate is about more than barefoot luxury. It’s a remarkable conservation project, home to more than 3,000 giant Aldabra tortoises and a thriving population of the once critically endangered Seychelles magpie robin.

And with its position just four degrees south of the equator, Fregate is a year-round destination - whether you’re watching turtles hatch, kite surfing, snorkelling, fishing, or simply finding your own stretch of one of the seven beaches.

Wild, secluded and beautifully untouched, Fregate is set to make its long-awaited return.

Episode 04: Safari Accessories

The right accessories can make all the difference on safari.

A wide-brimmed hat is essential for long days in the sun, while sunscreen is a must. Closed-toe shoes are always a good idea - perfect for game drives, bush walks, and those inevitable comfort stops.

Don't forget a good camera to capture the moments you'll treasure forever, and a small tote bag to keep your daily essentials close at hand on the safari vehicle.

It's the little things that make every adventure that much more comfortable.

Five weeks. Over 2,000 miles. Two very different ends of Chile.

Cartology Travel Designer, .flatman from , recently spent five weeks travelling from the otherworldly landscapes of the high-altitude Atacama Desert in the north to the dramatic peaks and wilderness of Patagonia in the far south.

Chile’s immense size rewards taking the time to slow down and explore, and it was some of the places in between that left the biggest impression.

From pisco-fuelled Chilean Independence celebrations in the mystical Elqui Valley, to the rolling pastures and cattle country of the Chilean Lake District, framed by snow-capped volcanoes, Josh discovered a side of Chile that goes far beyond its famous highlights.

A journey best measured not in miles, but in moments.

Episode 03: Layers are Everything

Layers are your best friend on safari.

Temperatures can change dramatically throughout the day. Early mornings are often crisp, with hot water bottles, blankets and beanies making game drives that much more enjoyable. By midday, you'll likely be reaching for a t-shirt, or even your swimsuit. As the sun sets, those extra layers come in handy again.

Pack for every season in a single day, and you'll be ready for whatever the bush has in store.
